Hello, I’d like to apologize. Most of you have been here since the beginning and I shouldn’t have just disappeared without word for so long.
          
          I’m working on revising Book II and III but mainly two at the moment. I haven’t gotten to a decision about IV yet, but if it helps, I have been writing it but I feel it’s important to make the first three the best they can be.
          
          I’m sincerely sorry to all who have waited for the continuation of IV. As of now it is on hold and I hope you understand.
          
          Feel free to take a look at the revised version of the first chapter of Book II. Or if you’re up to it, you can re-read Book I. As I’ve mentioned it is 65-79% different and much better. Book I has been completely revised with many things taken out and added. 
          
          This series means a lot to me and it deserves more than what I gave it before. I’ll give myself grace because I did start it so young. If you do re-read Book I I’d say start with Chapter 2 and go from there.

...as I sit here writing chapter 4 I’m realizing that either way it has to end and I can’t stop crying. 
          
          I know it sounds silly but it’s breaking my heart to have to say goodbye to these characters once I choose how to wrap up the series.
          
          Okay, I’m gunna go now. My subconscious is telling me to get my shit together.

So, unfortunately Book I cannot be submitted to this years Wattys writing contest. 
          
          I've made all changes needed to the book before August 1, 2018 and have been mainly editing and cleaning up the poorly written chapters to Book II (Rachel's delivery, Tamilia's arrival as well as Elena attending a support group while still indecisive, and letting you all see more of Andreas' downfall) and then of course Book III was finished this year so those two had no problems being submitted.
          
          The only things I've really edited in Book I this year is adding time lines within the months she was there so that things would sync up better with the changes I was making to Book II.
          
          In order for Book I to have been eligible I would've had to submit 10,000 NEW words to the book and I just couldn't creatively come up with more to add to it while trying to establish the foundation of Book IV.
          
          This news really hurt my little heart and it really sucks. I just have to keep my fingers crossed for Wattys 2020. Maybe after Book IV and I've wrapped up the series I can try and add more about Elena's journey at the Danford Orphange for a few years but...yeah. I just wanted to update you all.
