I have been a veterinary assistant/technician for going on 7 years now. I am still in school to be registered. This platform is for me to tell my story, and spread awareness of what happens in a real day to day life of people in the veterinary field. This field has one of the highest suicide rates of all professions, and for good reason. Playing with puppies and kittens all day is not the job description.
