          Just a random disclaimer: I got a few messages of people angry that I made Danny say Lily was his best friend rather than Will to his therapist. I’d just like to say that Danny really believed he’d lost Will for good. He very clearly has issues so obviously he wouldn’t be like “oh yeah Will is my best friend even though he said it pained him to be and that he didn’t want to talk to me for a while!!” Just be patient with him, he’s a little traumatized  (Acts as if I literally wasn’t the one to traumatize him) also please don’t yell at me I’m sensitive and I WILL NOT hesitate to cry. But yeah, I tried being more realistic and I’m aware it didn’t turn out like that. I’m sorry and I hope this clears things up lol

Ngl I’ve been avoiding writing on wattpad because I hate writing in the first person past tense, but I hope you enjoyer the update. thank you for reading xx

alright, so i wanted to make it clear what my intentions with danny’s character are. 
          
          first of all, yes, he did outright say he was straight, but he’s still 15!! he doesn’t know everything about himself yet. not to mention he didn’t get a chance to figure himself out given his… history… so don’t give up hope yet (to those who wanted danny and will to be together lol). he’ll get there eventually! i know it sucks to wait but i wanted to be more realistic about it. you don’t get out of his situation unscathed. i also want to add that you don’t owe anyone a label on your sexuality, and you don’t have to have everything figured out at 15. self discovery is a long road and it isn’t an easy one. danny’s a traumatised kid, he just needs some time to heal and find himself < 3
          
          second of all, i’m not sure how aware you guys are about bpd (borderline personality disorder) but i’ve kind of alluded to danny having this mental illness. symptoms like fear of abandonment, self doubt, self-destructive behaviors, mood swings, feeling empty, explosive anger etc… if you noticed, danny has displayed these symptoms!! i didn’t want to make it too obvious, but i wanted you guys to know that i plan on addressing his behavior and the sequel is mostly about both danny and will finding themselves and healing from the trauma they’ve endured. if you feel i’ve incorrectly represented bpd or said something offensive please don’t be shy to tell me about it!! i’m young and i’ll make mistakes but i’ll learn from them.
