So it turns out a guy in all my classes ahem ALL my classes thought my name was another girls name in my grade

does anyone remember a book with the main girl character having a fat pug where the doggo couldn't walk and the main guy character also has a doggo but idk the breed, and the guy character lost a bet or something so he has to walk the main girl characters pug and he keeps dissing her doggo?

Ok lol this is gonna sound weird but what's that book where the girl protagonist need to get something rare or something and her best friend has a way so they go to a store into the toy section and the best friend got batteries or something and had to stuff it in a toy and then a person came I think idk I don't remember after that but what was the book it's been bugging me for ages
