Zendagi az tu, marg az man. Rahaati az tu, narahaati az man. Khushi az tu, ghaam az man. Hama chiz az tu. Wale tu az man.
          
          Life is yours, death is mine. Peace is yours, stress is mine. Happiness is yours, sorrow is mine. Everything is yours, But you are mine.

Agar dil-e-sher nadari,
          Safar-e-eshq nako.
          
          He who does not have the heart of a lion, should not chase after what is love.

Ke jaise tera Khuda na tha mera,
          Ke jaise tujhe pata na tha mera,
          Kyu tere bina jeena pada mujhko?
          
          As if we did not worship the same God,
          As if you did not know the matter of my heart,
          As if I did not have to tread this path alone.
          

Sabr itna rakho ke ishq 
          Behuda na bane,
          Khuda mehboob ban jaaye,
          Mehboob Khuda na bane.
          
          Remain patient, love modestly-
          Fall in love with your Creator,
          Not in worship with your Beloved.

          To her I belong,
          Within her I dwell,
          Towards her I aspire,
          Hers to claim,
          Let me be this way.
          

Chalo ik baar phir se
          Ajnabee banjaayein hum dono.
          
          Let us go back to being strangers.

Beete huye lamho
          Ki kasak sath to hogi.
          Khwabon mein hi ho chaahe
          Mulakat to hogi.
          
          Let there be a figment of my past with you. Let there be a fraction of your dreams with me.

Thodi si roshni maangi thi zindagi mein,
          Chaahne walon ne to aag laga di.
          
          Fire's spreading all around my room,
          My world's so bright. It's hard to breathe-
          But that's alright.
          

Agar ishq khaak na karde,
          To khaak ishq hua.
          
          Except for agony,
          There exists no love.

Ek hum the,
          Tere hath mein dil rakh aaye.
          Aur ek tu huya,
          Dil pe hath bhi na rakh saka.
