I have a new story out! I’ve worked pretty hard on this one. It’s gone through several rewrites and many, many changes. But it’s finally here!

I’m glad your here. Currently, I’m completely editing and changing the storyline because of a whole bunch of issues. It’s been quite a bit since I commented about it. I’m currently in a debate with myself over whether or not to save the character. I’m sorry if this isn’t what you expected. The story will hopefully be up sometime in April

What do you guys think are some of the biggest cliches in Harry Potter Fanfiction?
enbylily
@animussaviortribute time turners. harry potter's twin sister who is the chosen one and she's so good and mary sue-y and she kills Voldemort in the end. Voldemort's daughter. *le gasp* im sirius blacks daughter i didn't even know my last name was black. Lily's twin sister that is SO ugly but she's the best and everyone loves her and lily is a (insert girl dog word here) and twin sissy catches the eye of every boy in hogwarts, but she TOTALLY isnt pretty nor smart when shes the top of her form. The fifth marauder. Marauders bully somebody and then suddenly they're best friends. I could go on forever

To any of my followers that care about Wings of Fire: I got The Hive Queen yesterday and finished reading it. I just posted a Spoiler-Free review in my Fandom Randomness book.

Friendly Reminder: Snape risked his own life by defying Voldemort at age 20.
People seem to forget this. Snape wasn’t even technically an adult yet before he started spying on Voldemort.

I have a big problem with Dramione. So, it isn’t okay for Snape to call Lily a mudblood once, but it’s totally acceptable to ship Draco with the girl he’s been calling a mudblood since second year? I just don’t think it’s fair. Both Snape and Draco joined the right side at the end, so why is Snape and Lily looked down upon while Dramione is praised everywhere?

@b_the_book While I respect your opinion and right to ship whatever you want, I personally think Lily would have been better off with someone other than James or Snape. She deserves more than both of them.

@this-rose-has-thorns And I wholeheartedly agree that Snape was a prick, but so was Draco. War changes people. They just both happened to change at different ages- though Snape was only 20-ish when he changed sides.

Don’t you hate when people call Lucius Malfoy abusive? He had so much respect for Narcissa and never pressured her into becoming a Death Eater. He ran through the Battle of Hogwarts, a prime target, wandless just so he could find his son. He specifically asked Lord Voldemort himself if he could go into the battle and find his son. Lucius was not abusive. He was a good and loving father, if a little too strict at times.
Also, I saw a headcanon that compared Vernon Dudley to Lucius and I got really mad. They may both have been a*holes but Lucius never ABUSED A CHILD BECAUSE HE HATED THEIR PARENTS! I get comparing Draco and Dudley But LUCIUS WAS NOT ABUSIVE!
And there is evidence to prove that Lucius respected and loved Narcissa. Remember in the prologue of Deathly Hallows. Lucius literally waits until Narcissa gives him permission before giving up his wand to THE DARK LORD HIMSELF!
Lucius May have been a pressuring father, but he loved his son nonetheless and never treated his wife with anything but respect.

@Jeesicay and @animussaviortribute I really want that snake argument but sure that can wait another day. And also, to be honest I never saw Lucius as abusive or anything, but you really got me to think about that when I read this.
