          i don’t know if my platform is relevant enough, but, i honestly am so disappointed. 
          
          imagine voting a man — part of a dirty political dynasty who flunked law school over a woman of great credentials and clean records. 
          
          honestly, i’m exhausted from crying all night. i only had about 4-5 hours of sleep; i couldn’t even focus because of severe election anxiety. when i woke up, my mind was far from being at ease. 
          
          the pictures of atty. chel (and vp leni) wrecked the living empath in me. how can you pick an actor who will hire lawyers to make laws when you have a fucking law graduate and a human rights advocate right in front of you!? 
          
          my father opposes my mother and i’s belief/s, and i respect his, deeply — but as someone who had studied political science for almost 7 years, i truly was disappointed when i saw him shade his name. 
          
          i tried spreading vp’s plans for the ph to my relatives, but instead of trying to consider and having an open mind, they openly gossiped about me… saying i was just a mere minor with no right to vote. 
          
          i truly am devastated. my classmates and co-scholars are grieving. 
          
          i wish the mother land the best. i truly am trying to think optimistically.

Furthermore, Robredo's brand of politics is very divisive, toxic, and exudes much hate. Recently, netizens reported that a young man, who was a supporter of BBM committed suicide because of depression after being allegedly bullied by his teacher, a Leni supporter on social media.
            
            No wonder the Marcos-Duterte tandem has attracted undecided voters precisely because their positive campaigning which has been like a breath of fresh air throughout the election season, while that of Robredo’s camp is toxic. 
            
            In conclusion, I consider two qualities – competence, and authenticity. I don’t see Robredo embodying either.
            
            The fact she ran as an independent presidential candidate and had multiple shifts in political colour –from yellow to pink and now multi-colour – is a politically expedient move to distance herself from her political party, the Liberal Party, that has lost political currency in the Philippines. She remains the party chair, an indication that she has lost her integrity and is sadly devoid of authenticity.
