•when i was in the fourth grade, my favourite teacher was my social studies/AP/history teacher. she was a sweet woman and i was kind of close with her. she used to always make the class play games and this is why my classmates disliked her. however, her lectures were always interesting. i never fell asleep during them and the way she taught us made it way easier to remember. plus, she never stuck to the “lets only talk about the philippines and not give a damn about the others.” attitude the teachers had and she’d explain other cultures, the history behind conflict between nations and much more.
          • i’m writing this since she’s the reason i’m so interested into history. she’d sit down with me during recess and lunch just to chat about history and how i was doing.

•story relating to some Philippine history.
             > my grandfather was around 10 years old when the Japanese arrived in the Philippines during World War 2. My uncle told me how the people in the two would run around, yelling “Nandaan na ang mga hapon !” and urged people to either gather up in the circle or go back home.
            > he had a Japanese friend back then too, they’d play badminton together.

•He also worked for President Marcos, however, I’m not going to go in depth into it since it’s a rather controversial topic.
