Okay so I basically just purged my soul with singers from Ukraine and I need to sincerely thank Ukraine for perfecting the raspy bedroom voice that all males ( or gender variant beings ) seem to be gifted with.
On another note entirely yes I have been gone for a very long time and I have to apologize for that ( honestly it's unforgivable but there wasn't any WiFi sweethearts ). I was in the mists of a road trip across France and returned home just six days ago and I'm just about to go on another trip entirely for my mother's birthday in two days and I've just haven't sat down to write anything. I can't say in the next two weeks I will post anything either because as I'm notoriously known for in my household and by friends I'm an extreme procrastinator and I have yet to even touch my summer work for my school even though I have less than 25 days left til school starts. But it isn't like I haven't been plotting or writing at all ,after everything settles down in the next two weeks or so I'm going to be uploading a couple of pieces for 1971 and I'm going to very soon be posting the first chapters of my new stories. Yes multiple! I have to say I lean towards fantasy with my stories ' genre which is completely different from my poetry but it will be interesting how things go with these ideas I have gurgling up inside of me.
Again thanks so much for putting up with me and for the support you guys have been giving me especially with 1971. If you guys have any questions, any at all I would be happy to answer and if you just want to chat I'm always here. I don't bite..usually, but if for some reason I do; don't worry my mother had me tested.
I'm curious, why are the chapters in your book "1971" specific times? Would you tell us what those times mean?
@aphorisms I couldn't agree more, how else do we as writers expect to convey certain feelings to the reader through our writings if we haven't experienced or, at least, felt them in the first place? Thank you so much, I really enjoyed this conversation and your book is now on my library waiting to be read! :)
@xnotjustsomegirl hahaha its no problem, I love talking to my readers and it's a treat when they ask questions about the work. And I feel like everything a person produces in any type of art field should always have a meaning to every aspect of the piece no matter how little and you should always make it personal because that's the only way you can convey real emotion to your art work and audience. I appreciate that in all artists and artwork; giving time is one thing but giving true emotion is the essence of what every human being is and I don't think there is any purer form of artistry then that. And again it's no problems answering any questions you may have sweets it's a pleasure to answer any; best regards and thanks for the lovely comments in the story expect a reply to them soon.
@aphorisms that's a very nice touch to your book, having your chapters titled after certain moments that meant something enough to be stored in your memory. I really liked how you put it as something very personal, something that connects you to your writing. Thank you for sharing, that was very kind of you to take your time while on a trip. So for all those who are wondering what is recently going on with my profile; I've separated my stories and poems. By this I mean I opened a new account @orenda_ that will solely be dedicate to my stories, and this account will be for poetry. The reason why is because I feel like I need to have a separation of the two since I'm in different stages with my poetry rather then my stories. Plus I have plenty of story ideas gurgling up that it would just make it simpler to give you access to just those literary works if thats what you guys are interested in. And yes, that does mean that Paper Skies will transfer over to @orenda but that does not mean I'm giving up on it. Nor am I just going to be focusing on only my stories since I will continuously be uploading 1971 and Cough Medicine. But this also gives me room to post just independent poems as well, so thats honestly great. Though I do have to apologize to you all for the fact that I have not be uploading anything new in Cough Medicine, and only recently started back up again with 1971. I have a very limited time where I can dedicate to writing since my schedule was filled with school and art assignments. Plus the ending of the semester was coming up and it was just a whole bloody mess. Though I will defiantly start back up again, and expect two new stories to be brought out soon since I'm in the process of outlining them. And also look out for some new independent poems that are coming your way in the next few weeks.
@LinaGaray yeah they helped me for a while before I learned how to become balanced for myself, and I think everyone needs at least a small haven even if its only for a couple of minutes. It might even change a persons life, for all I know. But its the smallest form of comfort I can bring to my followers and Im thankful for that.
Going to be uploading a new anthology soon, and I haven't forgotten about 1971 or Paper Skies. Their chapters are in progresses, my loves, so be expecting.
New chapter of 1971, sorry for the two month lapse that left this collection starving, but I'll try to get back to writing it.
