I can't believe I'm finally so close on a finishing a book xD I already finished with the plot outline for act five of The Perfect Match. There are 18 chapters in act five, so that makes 75 chapters in total for the whole book. Now I only have to find the time to write the prose for act five xD

You know, I really want to support other writers out there by giving them the votes and comments that they deserve. But as a reader, I'm a bit too picky. For example, when I read a Lockwood&Co book and found the OC was stealing Lucy's line and role, I couldn't bring myself to continue reading. It felt like both lazy writing and a disrespect to Lucy's character.

@MadsWritesBearnelli Yeah, it really helps me remember all the detail I want for my OC in the first place. I hope it helps you too!

@aphrdite_ ooh the Wikipedia idea is really smart. I normally go with the flow when I'm writing but I'm thinking I need to begin planning things a bit more thoroughly.

@MadsWritesBearnelli I think it's okay if you find something inspiring from another story and decide to adapt it into your own, as long as you don't copy paste everything directly. Personally, I usually make some kind of wikipedia on my OCs before writing, so no matter how long it takes me to finish the story, I won't forget anything about them.

I'm currently on my late twenties, and writing Lockwood and Ella romance scene made me feel like a teeneger all over again

Just finished writing the plot outline for The Perfect Match act four. The original book (The Creeping Shadow) has 29 chapters in total, while act four only has 16 chapters because one chapter in act four will adapt 2 chapters from the original book at once. One chapter in act four will probably have 7000-9000 words. And I might start updating around July or August, if everything goes according to my plan.

@aphrdite_ THANK UUUU!! I hope everyone goes according ur plan. I can't wait to read the new chapters

just finished reading The Creeping Shadow... and I must say that now I have no idea how to incorporate my subplot for act four of The Perfect Match. The subplot will change the tone drastically. But it is necessary for Lockwood and Ella's arc.

kleejunq

@aphrdite_ but no pressure, take all the time you need. I will always waiting for it to come out <33

I just realized I had 6 story drafts so far, but only 3 of them that ever got passed chapter one. But only one of them that I kept coming back to; The Perfect Match (L&C fic). I can't go back to Always & Forever (TVDU fic), because now I see how problematic Nate Buzz is. I can't go back to Project Hope (The 100 fic) either, because it's really hard to write a highly intelligent OC, there's a lot of research about science that needed to be done first, and I just don't have the time and energy for that. It's easier for The Perfect Match because I love imagining Talia Ryder and Cameron Chapman as a couple (in my mind, they look so good together) and the characters felt like actual teengers, with all their messy emotions. So yeah, that's why I only continue The Perfect Match for now.

@demin_pearls_1326 Thanks for saying this, I'm glad you got to write your own fic too! You know, at first I was like that too, that's why I kept writing Always&Forever, even when some people already warned me about how problematic he was. But then I saw his IG account, and it just ruined everything. I felt sick to my stomatch to ever imagine him in my mind. But I can't exactly delete the story, and maybe I will update it again, someday. I hope you have a good week too!

Alright! Thanks for taking time out of your day to write this. I know you for your TVDU Kol fic and it’s one of my favourites because it was my first Kol M/oc fic and inspired me very much to write my own. Anyways, I know how problematic Nate is and try my hardest to separate the actor from that character, so in the future I’m hoping for you to publish it again. But I just wanted to let you know I think your writing is absolutely beautiful and I hope you have a good week!

Hey, Aphrdite. How are you? I hope you're doing okay. I was just wondering why I couldn't find your story The Perfect Match. I really enjoyed reading it, but I haven't had the time to continue it before because school stuff, but now I'm back. And I'm ready to reread it again

@kleejunq Thanks! I really appreciate all the votes and comments you left. It's the only thing that keeps me finish the story ^^
