just finished an ancient novel featuring an mc who transmigrated into a book character's not first, not second, but third rebirth, right after the cannon fodder decided to kill himself, and forcibly marries himself off to Prince Xiao (ml), the only prince with a different surname in the dynasty that helped the current emperor conquer the throne, in order to stay away from the turbulent plot and the book's real protagonists. There's more than meets the eye in this book, from the mc's not-so-typical past, to the ml's not-so-simple background, and the author is really good at foreshadowing and planting seeds of doubt without revealing the answer until the right time. I really enjoyed this one. Called 'Husband said'
