            In my head canon Kiva some how manages to get her powers back{they visit the ruins of the Corintine house in the mountains} and now she can control both life and death magic,
            
            Well I believe that Kiva reserves her magic to her family and close friends, and only uses it when need( she has learned how to put on a little light show for her kids tho)
            
            But Kiva is queen because she didnt like seeing Jaren stressed so much, so she took the job as full time queen to help get a weight of his shoulders
            
            THEY STILL VISIT THE SIVERTHORN KIDS

@_ST4LK3R_T4NG0_ fast forward and they had a little boy and a little girl (kerrin and ..., prolly zophia) and theyre absolutely chaotic bebes and kerrin has healing magic, earth and water but the healing magic is kind of weak cause kiva sucked it out of her blood. zophia has fire and wind. 
            the godparents are tipp and naari (NOT A SHIP BEFORE ANYONE SAYS ANYTHING WEIRDD) and the kids are besties with tor and ashys kids who they dont really see too much cause they live with their parents at the army bases. (im not sure if cal and cresta have kids tho)
            kerrin has his mums hair but dads eyes, zophia has caremlly blondish with green eyes but with the gold rim thing jaren has. they find out kerrin has healing magic when he sees his sister hurt when playing and it just seeps out of him uncontrolled. a council meeting is held with kiva and kerrin present almost immediately after.
            although zophia didn't have healing magic she was like her mum and liked going to visit silverthorn a lot, so when she grows up she has a job as a official minister or something idk for health.
            (in my head kiva doesnt like the official queen stuff too much but shes the head of silverthorn and queen simultaneously and manages both rlly well)

            I bet Jaren knew because of trauma and didn’t want to make her think about it.
            IMAGINE THE COUNCIL TRYING TO FORCE JAREN TO MARRY A NOBLE WOMAN.
