I've been an avid reader for a while, I went through my own literary enlightment way back in the fifth grade and have been reading late into the nights and crying over fictional characters ever since. I like discovering new ideas and plots, originality is one of the common characteristics of my favorite authors. 

My favorite genre has to be Fantasy/Science Fiction, I feel like I can best relate to characters in those genres, and I love the essence of being able to escape the boundaries of the universe just through reading. I do read realistic fiction as well, and historical fiction here and there (love period pieces!!)

Though I like reading primarily, I'd like to try my cards out in writing. Hopefully I'll be half as good a writer as I am a reader because I find it's definately a challenge!
