@monstraura    she was designed for war,  and that’s exactly how she will remain..  i cannot say the same for her future holders,  i can only speak as the one who carries her valiantly..  although i do hope and could only assume the hands worthy of her will carry out what we have sought out.  [once the sword was placed in his grasp,  he was sure to keep gentle hands around the blade.  for the smallest amount of pressure could break even the strongest of flesh.  he had learned that the hard way once,  yet quickly learned from his mistake.  after taking a moment to properly admire the sword,  he then carefully lays it flat along the table,  watching the crimson pommel glisten against the ample amount of light shining through the room]   have you visited rhiannon yet?

@draqriys  the first to ever wield this was raenor himself..  he was just a boy,  then [her thumb brushed over the crimson sun snapped pommel. this blade had seen many battles before herself,    and may continue to see them long after her current wielder]  continue to honor her.  no blade like her is meant to sit and collect dust    [ she offers the blade back to it’s  /rightful/ owner.    for her time had passed,     and visenya accepted it as such.   she had no regrets in her life as the wielder of daybreaker,  nor as the rider of the red death herself——she planned to visit her old friend when she had the time]

that she does,   ever since my mother retrieved her on one of her trips on dragonback,  i’ve been sure to preserve her to the best ability i could.  [granted,  daybreaker was his trusty weapon when it came to battle.  many men slain to the point he was convinced the blood sheathing the metal of the blade would ultimately stain.  as he watched the elder carefully hold a sword that would belong to both of them,   his hands found busyness as they wrung together.]
