SHORT FUSE,  burns quickly.   prone to taking charge and juggling multiple things simultaneously,  even the most poised people crack under pressure.   she doesn’t mean to lash out at people or cause a scene but its easy to overwhelm someone who has a lot on their plate.   archane uses manipulation tactics every once in a while to get her way and “masks” around people in order to keep up with the persona of an untouchable woman ( … ) which lasts only for so long.   irregular suppression of basic emotions leads to buildups where aggression or violence seem like the only logical way out.   if not,  she’s cool,  calm,  charming,  and alluring from a safe distance.   

EXCELLENCE,  academic prowess.    full ride scholarship and making sure her parents life work doesn’t end in vain,  archane currently majors in biomedical engineering and research—   not an exact replica of what her family did but she’s taking slow steps to unravel what exactly they left behind.    honorary student,  she keeps up appearances with other students by cheerleading and ice skating,  tutoring if you can catch her after class,  and working on side projects in the science labs.   she’s built up enough rapport for most to know her name and many to recognize her face,  always disappearing into books,  algorithms,  and equations.   KNOWLEDGE is finite and she’s got all the time in the world.

TIMELESS,  bound by an illusion.
            the genetically modified radioactive spider bite came with a set of unusual abilities—   TIME AND INTER DIMENSIONAL TRAVELING.   past,  present,  and future:   archane moves through pocket sized tears created by the unique code of her DNA,  spontaneous and mandatory-  when the pocket or portal opens,  archane MUST leave her home / universe and travel or her atoms will aggressively begin to deteriorate.   although she doesn’t need special technology to move through space and time,  she’s created a few devices to help her keep track of where she’s going,  where she’s been,  how long she’s been gone,  and how long until she’s sent back home.   she takes what she’s learned in different times and places,  using ancient techniques and knowledge to give her an advantage any and everywhere.

if the multiverse exists then so does the supernatural.   she’s aware of beings and entities that are often hidden from the human eye. 

“i barely touched you.”   she tries to hold back,  she really does.   the suit is weighted with the intent of slowing her down and exercising restraint,  hugging her form.   THE DUAL BLADES are meant to put distance between her and enemies … but that lasts only for so long.   “YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I AM ACTUALLY CAPABLE OF.   so,  don’t talk to me about RESPONSIBILITY.” 

high risk,  higher reward.   makes her own gadgets and useful tech that will aid her out in the field,  in other universes,  or while time traveling.   non patented devices,  serums,  and methods from ancient horticulture with herbal remedies to assist her in recovery.   “i brought back some souvenirs.”
