I am a very political person and it may/will appear in my writings. Do not let this dissuade you from reading my stuff as I attempt to keep my own opinions veiled and portray both sides equally. The foundation of democracy is the ability to disagree without bloodshed nor violence. My writings are not always steeped in politics, nor will I try to enforce my views upon others. I will have characters in my writings who I disagree with; I will also have characters with whom I agree wholeheartedly. I will not portray one side as being right (except in obvious cases such as slavery, I think everyone can agree that that is a wretched and detestable thing for any country claiming to be free. On a more personal level I am a Christian. Once again I value other peoples opinions, even those contrary to my own, without necessarily agreeing with them. Part of the reason I attempt to portray everything objectively is that I am aware that I may be wrong in most cases (there are some moral absolutes that even moral relativists would agree with, an example is murder; murder is illegal, as it should be, and is wrong).
