"~Ava's POV~
Waking up the morning after an emotional yet dramatic roller coaster disguised as last night, I felt a lot better. I made up my mind that I would stay for the sake of my child and nothing more. Jacob was cut off for now. If it doesn't have anything to do with Lily, then it has nothing to do with me either.
I rolled over and saw my Lily love laying next to me playing with her Dora. I hadn't seen that doll in forever... well, at least that's what it felt like. "Morning mommy." She leaned over and kissed me on my nose.
"Morning Lily love." I wrapped her in my arms. "I miss you baby."
"Why? I'm right here."
It dawned on me how much time she's been spending away from me. She had daycare in the day, sometimes she would be with her father, and now that we're in L.A., she's hanging out with her new "uncles". They treat her like a princess and give her whatever she wants. That's why she likes it here so much and its only been a day... not even.
"I just miss you, that's all. How about you and me go swimming in the pool today?"
"Can't." She replied with a sassy voice. What the hell is with my child?
"And why is that? Do you have a date?"
"Not a real one like you would have with daddy." She started. "Uncle Ray is taking me to Toys R Us today. You can come if you want."
"I would love to come." I laughed and hugged her tighter. She's growing up so fast. She's making her own plans already and she only 3 going on 4 in like two weeks. Which reminded me, I had to plan something nice for her while we're here.
I got up and brushed my teeth. I tried to help Lil, but "she's a big girl now" according to... herself, I guess. We put on some clothes and went downstairs to see what we could eat. On the way down, she told me about all the toys she was gonna get at Toys R Us. I took that moment to thank God that I wasn't the one paying for all these things.
