Back after another 3 years. It's a little surreal seeing all these messages on my board from friends I haven't talk to in years, and people who I now severely dislike. 8 years ago, I met my best friend on here. We're not friends anymore.
Sometimes, I imagine these messages as pauses in time. Snippets of when I truly had nothing better to worry about.
13 year old Jean still messages her friend every day. 13 year old Jean still reads Hamilton and Undertale fanfiction religiously. 13 year old Jean still thinks generational issues can be fixed by posting an angry rant and liking protest videos online. They hurt, but I don't think I'll ever delete them. Because it was proof that once upon a time, things were... simpler.
