@ardiss Yep, it probably has to do with whatever is inside the basement and Eren is somehow involved! Based on what the beast titan said, I get the feeling the human survivors are part of some big experiment and perhaps there's life beyond the walls. I mean it's strange that the walls are made of inactive titans.
