{ u p d a t e // i'm alive......barely }
          
          hi friends, so right now zoom university is trying to drown me in school work. i am so unbelievably behind where i really should be rn but i'm trying to pick up my pace so that i can 1) read more books (because i finally shook my years-long reading slump!) and 2) start a new draft of war crimes.
          
          yeah, i wrote what i wrote lol. i didn't like the pacing of the last draft so i started over with the outline. right now i technically have all chapters of war crimes outlined, i'm just trying to figure out how the second book needs to be paced. however, even though i split war crimes into a duology i'm having a hard time thinking of them as two separate books, so i need the full outline before i feel like i know my direction.
          
          i also have a few ideas for some oneshots i might work on to get some content out, bc if i only focus on war crimes it'll evidently be another 10 years before i get anything out oops. maybe in the next couple weeks i'll see if i can make the time to whip up something?? more like the next month lol.

          so......it's been a year since my last update, but i thought i'd mention i still exist? and i hope to actually post a little something something soon. it's been my plan for a few years now to post my baby War Crimes once i finish the first 10 chapters. i've been writing this draft for literally almost 3 years now, but i've got some time + motivation right now!!! i'm trying to capitalize on that. i think the writer's block i've had for like 5 years might be lifting? so i'm very hopeful about this right now.
          
          while i'm here, i'll try to be a little transparent about what i want to do with my account in the future. i want to rebrand a little? i'm not completely satisfied with the aesthetic of my account, so i'm gonna spend a little time figuring out what i want in terms of formatting and media and whatnot. i'll try not to do anything that will spam you with notifs!
          
          but besides those superficial things! i no longer feel as though some of the writing i have up represents who i am as an author now. thus, i will be archiving/drafting much of what i have up now. you can still find everything i have on ao3, i believe! i am using that as an archive for my work (link in bio). and i will work on second drafts eventually! (for you & i more so than tremors, probably, because i really don't know how to slog through tremors. the dialogue is so cringey i can't even sit through it)
          
          in any case! i hope you all are staying safe at home if the government wants you to shelter in place, and that you are just safe and healthy in general <3

          hello, hello, i've been gone forever and i'm gonna stop promising to come back for sure, but anyway i'm going on spring break soon so yeah! i'll be a little more active (hopefully) for the next week or so.

          • h i a t u s » So I've been getting back into my reading habits (I will conquer my library!) but unfortunately my writing habits have not caught up yet. And I'm preparing to go into another quarter for maybe 5, maybe more classes. Which means I will not have time to write unless a miracle called "I manage my time perfectly to the millisecond and my brain doesn't completely die" happens. (Spoiler: It probably won't. I still have not recovered from the past year.) However…
          
          • W A R   C R I M E S » I have decided to put up the zero matter for the fantasy story I have been working on (for years lol)! Only for a short time because I've only written a few chapters out of many, but I'm hoping to get to a point where I am comfortable to start publishing chapters by the end of next year. I've been promising this one for a while, however, so please be patient with me hahahaha. But also be hype, this one's gonna be a wild ride.
          
          tl;dr: my reading? catching up. my writing? falling behind. FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY read the zero matter for a new story.

          • h i a t u s » Hello! I know I've been mostly gone for, well, forever now, but I'm working on catching up on my reading and writing (I'm slow, sorry). I'll be back completely soon.
          
          • P I C T U R E S Q U E » Okay, so I know the book says that I'll only take it down when it's finished, but I've decided to take it down in a week (possibly later, we'll see). Here's the deal: It's not what I consider good for my writing. The story is problematic, the characters are bland, and I just don't have the motivation to finish it. At all. It's really painful for me to try to write. I do not have the energy to even halfheartedly finish this book, and I'm not going to waste energy on this when I have other stories I'm much more excited for. It might return if I ever go back and overhaul the plot (and I mean it will probably be unrecognizable). However, that's not something I'm willing to do right now. I hope you all understand.
          
          tl;dr: I'm active again (or will be soon), and you only have maybe a week to read what few chapters of Picturesque I have up, if you're into that.

@80anna I'm glad it made you so happy, haha! I guess I forgot last year, though. Your birthday's December 20, right? (I'm actually really bad at remembering dates and stuff, so I'm low-key impressed I remembered at one point.)

          Did anyone know that I have a side account? For a year, I've been trying to decide what to do with it, and I think I'm close to finally figuring it out. It's basically for anything that's not my fiction in English, but you can read about that in the description.

          I've put up a poetry book! (with only one poem up so far, but eh) Yes, I do write some poetry. I'm not very good, considering I have barely considered poetic devices for this particular poetry book, but I especially like to use it to vent my feelings. Sometimes I need the ambiguity that is more acceptable in poetry to express myself properly. So yeah, there it is.
