I know, I don't have many Followers, but... if you have seen the Cars films, though I'm talking especially about Cars 2 here, please tell me you do not ship Mater and Holley... (Okay, you can if you want, but I certainly don't. I don't care if it's canon.)
HEAR ME OUT! I'll try to keep it short.
So, anyway. We know that Mater's birthday is somewhen in 1957, since his passport was shown during the credits. And Holley's model is from 2008 - that's 51 years difference. And even if we assume she's around 25 when the film's released, which is 2011, Mater would be 54, which is STILL 29 years difference.
Then again, that age stuff judging by the models doesn't really work anyway, since e.g. Rod 'Torque' Redline (aka the American spy)'s model is from 2006, while it's said he was recruited after the Cold War, which ended 1991. BUT the thing with Holley and Mater still wouldn't really work. I mean, were there holographic computers and stuff like that in, let's say, 1980?
