Hi babes. So I am writing a college au as well but I am keeping it private because I am self conscious about releasing it (don’t ask) 
          
          I just want to know how do you depict Levi’s character so perfectly? It feels something out of a ohdontiwish fic (if you don’t know her she’s the og of top tier Levi fics) 
          
          Also I adore the book so much, words can’t describe how much its immersive and powerful. The dialogue and pacing are chef’s kiss. PLEASE IF YOU HAVE ANY TIPS DROP THEM HERE I AM DESPERATE.

Oh my gosh thanks for tips. Girl why are you surprised? Your fic is in my top tier list, you and Sydney are the GOATS here. And I am so glad I made your day. I don’t exactly have the time to rewatch the anime or reread the manga but I’ll listen to you if it sounds like Levi to me, then it does. Thanks for the confidence boost! 
            I am serious though, the conversation dynamics are chefs kiss. Chefs kiss. Detailed atmospheres and descriptions. Girl, I could go on until morning about why this fic should have at least 5 million reads. AT LEAST 
            Don’t ask me why, but I’ve been super reluctant for my fic to be released. I also think Levi’s conversation dynamics are aligned with chrollo’s (from hxh) so I kinda just… write it with the same pattern. If there was a way I could make the story only available to you that would be great.

            firstly, thank you so so much for saying i depict his character perfectly, i honestly think i have a long way to go with that since his character is really hard to grasp - AND OFC I KNOW SYD IM IN LOVE WITH ALL HER FICS SO BEING COMPARED TO HER CHARACTERISATION OF LEVI IS SUCH A FAT COMPLIMENT OMG!! okay, secondly, my biggest tip would be to focus on scenes with levi in them in not only the aot anime but also the manga (you can find it online for free im pretty sure) and also defo read the OVA no regret mangas as he has a lot more dialogue in them, and just observing how he interacts with other characters and certain tones of his speech, frequent words that he uses also helps. i think it’s well known that he has quite the potty mouth so that’s always funny to writeand yeah just generally like a lot of rewatches of the anime and rereads of the manga but focusing on levi specifically really helps me get an accurate feel for his character. and also, don’t overthink it, if it sounds like levi to you, it probably does sound like levi to everyone else too
