Okay so I’m rebranding “Illusions, Gravity, and Light” to “Illustrious Lights”. And also, I literally did a purge of every chapter within three days, rewrote them, and gave my character a new name, identity, and persona, because truth be told, I literally had no idea where grade 8 me was going with that.
          	
          	So if that’s why if that story is unfamiliar to you, this is the reason. Lmao sorry, (I’m not completely back from haitus, but I will be fixing stuff around maybe)

          To all my lovely readers who’s enjoyed, supported, and loved Late Bloomer,
          
          First of all, I’m not posting this on Late Bloomer because I don’t want the update notification to give you false hope that I updated a new chapter, because I didn’t. 
          
          I literally have like zero excuse as to why I haven’t picked up the story these past few years, and I apologize.
          
          I was postponing this authors note for a long time, due to the fact that I was too indecisive and kind of nervous to post. 
          
          The last time y’all have heard from me officially was before I left to go to the Philippines in 2020. Since then, I everything has gone down hill from there, but I’ll spare you all the long details.

            Now, my new plan with Late Bloomer is not to un publish this story, but rewrite it in a way where I know I’ll be happy with the chapters before I republish them.
            
            For Vella’s character, I won’t get rid of her completely- she’ll still be a high tier with the same abilities, but I think I’d rewrite her persona differently. A personality more manageable to maintain.
            
            These updates will come very slowly however, due to the fact that I’m in the equivalent of my senior year in high school. I hope you all understand.

            Reviewing previous chapters of Late Bloomer, I wasn’t really happy with how my writing turned out. Vella was written to be prim, proper, perfect and was placed on a pedestal of impossible high expectations by her own family.
            
            Just like how our very own Sera was before meeting John.
            
            Essentially, I wanted to write a character who was perfect and powerful, when in reality, I have no clue how to write one well. In fact, I’m quite the opposite of Vella.
            
            Looking back on my writing as well, I realized that when I wrote chapters; I wrote them in a way where I thought they were “perfect”.
            
            I wanted to write a story to appeal to my readers instead of myself. I wanted to write each chapter in a way where everyone would like it. Now I realize that isn’t how you write a good story.
            
            However, to those of you who liked the story how it was written a few years ago, thank you, and I’m also sorry to disappoint in the lack of updates.

Hey guys! I apologize on the slower updates on Late Bloomer, I'm still actively trying to work on the book, but on my own pace! Last month, and this month have been very hectic for me, due to during and after school activities, and my exam week that had happened very recently last month.
          
          So here's a quick (most likely unrealistic) schedule that I'll be trying to follow:
          Mondays: I'll be working and editing Thieves Guild.
          Tuesdays: No updates
          Wednesdays: I'll be publishing Thieves Guild, no later than 10 pm as the latest.
          Thursdays: No updates.
          Fridays: Will be working on Late Bloomer.
          Saturday-Sundays: Late Bloomer will be posted.
          
          But this schedule will start next week, so starting tomorrow I'll be adapting.
          
          Oh! And one more thing before I go, I'm super sorry for those of you who are waiting for Illusions, Lights, and Gravity {OC Reader x Sting}. I need to rewrite those chapters, but until further notice, I'll be putting that story on hold for a while.

First of all, I totally forgot to greet everyone a Merry Christmas for those who celebrate it; so Merry Late Christmas!! (Or Hannukah, or any other special seasonal holiday; lemme know what y'all celebrate) Or if you don't, then Happy Holidays!!

Hey guys, sorry that I haven't been able to update for the last two weeks! I just haven't been able to, I wasn't mentally or physically up to it recently. I've been going through some mental health, and a lot of school work so I've been very busy as of late...
          
          I'll find time to update Late Bloomer soon, and even add edits to it so I can fix any plot holes or mistakes I might have made in previous chapters, so be sure to watch out for that!
