i know i've been inactive for years by now and most of my followers are inactive too, but to those who are still here, this is officially the end of my wattpad era. (i know, it's such a dramatic way to phrase things.)

wattpad used to be one of the main focuses in my life. it used to be my goal to finish my fic and write a trilogy; however, that's just not what i want anymore. i might still read/comment every so often just for old time's sake, but other than that i won't be on here anymore.

with that being said, i've met so many amazing people here and i'm incredibly grateful for that. if you want to keep in touch then send me a pm and *maybe* i'll give you my discord. here's a massive thanks to everyone who was with me through this era - cheers :)

(oh, and in case you were wondering, my current goal in life is to go to uni in the uk)

@ arnoldthe-pygmypuff thank youuu for the ted talk, i think i'm gonna put those on my tbr list, i kind of love romance novels that include heavy topics because it makes them so much more relatable and real. one of my favorite romance books (and i'm really sorry by bringing it up again because it's by anne freytag and there are no English translations) is about a girl who is grieving the death of her older brother and then all of a sudden receives emails from him that he has written for her before he died, challenging her to go on a sort of quest to cope with his death and she does so with a guy who lives in the same building that also has her therapists office in it and i never cried so much over a book ever and it shattered me and made me swoon and hopeful and sad and now I should really stop talking about it. anyways, that was a way too long to say: thanks, i think i'd enjoy "letters to the lost" very much! and i'd love to hear what you think of the bell jar when you've read it because no one! in my life! has read it or is planning to! and i need to talk about it lol

you could really tell just how much they cared about each other by in the emails they sent but in real life you could still kinda tell that there was *some* kinda spark going on between them. there were so many moments that just melted me because of how much they cared/worried about the other. like i would literally just turn off my phone and slam it on the desk and scream internally because of how sweet some of their interactions were but also because it's so frustrating how you can't easily find a relationship like that irl. i mean, i did have a relationship like that with one of my closest friends, the kind of relationship you'd write a romance novel about if we were into each other in that way, but things have been rocky between us lately so i think part of the reason to book broke me so much is because it reminded me of what we used to have. ack i'm getting of topic but! the book had a happy ending and the author wrote a sequel called "more than we can tell"; i read it as a stand alone a few months ago actually and it's about the guy's best friend meeting a girl in a church parking lot and they start falling for each other pretty hard. that one also had some dark topics (it literally started off with this girl experiencing harassment online) but it didn't break me as much however it was still amazing. anyway "letters to the lost" is most definitely one of my favorite books now and i literally could not put it down. it's the kind of book that i wish i could read for the first time again. like i finished it last week and i'm already planning on rereading it - same with "more than we can tell" actually, i finished it a little over a month ago and i'm already rereading it. okay so thanks for coming to my ted talk hope ya enjoyed my rambling and i'm just now realizing that i had not, in fact, approached the character limit in my first message lmao

@ellewritesstuff omg okay so i just checked out the bell jar from the library and i'm so excited to read it oh my god anyway! i just finished reading "letters to the lost" by brigid kemmerer. it's about this girl who writes letters to her dead mom and leaves them on her grave and one day this guy who has to do community service at the cemetery responds to one of her letters. at first she's enraged but then they exchange letters and then emails except! they've met each other irl! they've interacted several times! and they don't know it!!! there were a couple heavy topics in the book that were super important to the development of their relationship (and other components of their lives). there were moments that frustrated me so much bc there was just so much tension and some moments that absolutely broke my heart and other moments that completely melted me because *goddammit can i please have a relationship like this???* okay i've reached the character limit but i have more to say!!
