/ THIS IS HOT
“ i was apparently partially responsible for your death. ” the blonde said as he scratched his ear. “ no hard feelings but you were in my way. ”
the blond gazed at her with a cold stare, analytical and unforgiving. there was a part of him that wanted to say no, a part of him that wanted so desperately to lock her up and condemn her for her actions. but there was another part of him that knew better, a part of him that knew he had committed the same crimes she had. his gaze softened, and the commander lowered his head. “how could I condemn you? you and I are one in the same. we both have made sacrifices for our causes.” he spoke lowly, his head lifting to meet her eyes. * @crystallizcd
"I look up to another part of myself."
@arsbellica Upon hearing this remark, a dry chuckle escapes his thin lips. "Ah, those. . . How I despised writing those letters. It was heartbreaking that it was mostly lies and sugarcoating. "
with downcast eyes, the man cleared his throat. “being alive means wearily writing condolences letters to bereaved families, and fighting a never ending battle against the titans...” he voice trailed off, his tone reflective and forlorn * @ragemysoldiers-
@arsbellica The commander returned the smile, except his was a little to wistful. "It was good to be alive. . . "

" you ' re supposed to be dead "
⠀˳✩ ༘⠀@-crmin A raspy chuckle escaped his cold and chapped lips at the Cadet’s flattery and kindness. His skin remained a ghastly pale, contrasting the striking, electric blue color of his eyes. “I still find it difficult to get out of my “Commander persona”, I suppose you could call it,” he chuckled. “Old habits die hard.” His voice trailed off solemnly. Erwin’s facial features hardened has he locked a stern gaze onto the boy, noticing his anxious behavior. “You’re questioning why you’re alive, yes? Why you aren’t the one who died?” He spoke lowly, sympathetic yet stern.
" huh , you ' d think that would be a blessing " he replied brushing back bangs that weren ' t there . after chopping off his hair , he had made it a habit to ghost his fingers over his forehead unconsciously . " you don ' t have to be worried about how you hold yourself , sir , you died for humanity and that itself is an honor , no need to professional " he assured the blonde chosing instead to bite at his thumbnail looking down at his feet nervously . after all he was the person who should have died , not the former commander . ( @-crmin )
⠀ ˳✩ ༘ ⠀@-crmin “perhaps Death made a mistake, and allowed me to live,” the blond spoke, attempting to mask his exhaustion with a bit of optimism and humor. his voice was hoarse, terribly hoarse, and the occasional guttural cough only added to his image of weakness. clearing his throat, the blond locked eyes with the smaller figure before him, desperate to maintain his professional dignity.
