In all respects, the raven demon passed for a human... if one didn't pay too much attention to the nearly black eyes and almost sharp, black nails. Though, with the rise of acrylic nails, Audrey had found it much easier to pass as human. She wasn't sure if that one was her or the angel's doing, neither him nor her had ever quite taken credit for it.
She sat down on a bench, deciding to take her time to watch the people as they passed by her

The chief surgeon had a rough couple of years, there was no denying that. She’d lost the person she loved most in the world… she’d then lost her mentor during the pandemic..
She’d gotten her poor heart broken more times than she could count… she’d been stabbed and left for dead… she’d been paralyzed… then put through a risky surgery…
And now here she was…
A little alone. But a little not.
She had sat down for coffee with the pediatric surgeon, offering a small smile to her,
“Thanks for just… being here.”

“Hey! Hey! Don’t you think it’s kind of cute that I I I died in your arms to tonight!” The three vocalist sang together as Audrey leaned into the drummers seat, their matching face paint of hearts with the word “lover” hidden in them as she sang at him, watching the other two vocalists lean into one another, swaying as the bassist eyed her girlfriend in the crowd, “That I’m fine, even after I have died because it was in your arms I died…”
They walked off stage, the young woman laughing as she threw her arms around the drummer before he laughed, pushing her a little outwards and teasing her about any ‘fans’.
She rolled her eyes as the band walked to a table

@artisticagent Audrey smiles slightly to her, her eyes looking around to the bar before replying, "Well, we've been drawing larger crowds, which is always great. It definitely means we get a bit more money, which never hurts. Dali got a new makeup set which, clearly pays off." she gestures to the makeup on her face, "But you know, still five idiots in that apartment." she rested her hands on the table, the bright pink hearts drawn on her hands and her glowing nails, having been expertly done by their bassist's girlfriend, "What about you? How've you been?"

@-BlacklightLover “I liked it a lot. It’s probably going to be an earworm in my head.” She admitted as she took a gulp of her beer with had turned lukewarm due to the heat. She had stripped her hair of all of it’s dye and it was back to her original strawberry blonde rather than the pale pink that it was when the pair first met. She’d usually have more to say and she’d be gushing about the Blacklight’s set, joking about rumours, talking about her own music and the upcoming tour that she was due to go on. But she didn’t say anything, rather just continued smoking and taking occasional sips of her beer. She looked a lot thinner since Audrey had seen her and a lot more tired and unlike Sophia. “So how’s…whatever you have going on?” She asked as she did an accompanying hand signal, as it slowly dawned on her that she hadn’t been in contact with the other for nearly half a year, which was strange because they contracted each other nearly every other week.

Her face was a little red, the glowing pink face highlighting the blush on her cheek. She’d never really paid too much attention to the rumors or the fans’ shipping… she’d actually been more interested in someone else, though they’d both been teased by Dalisay , the makeup artist and vocalist, for getting caught flirting after in their designs for tonight’s show. She smiled at Sophia as she sat down, “What did you think of the song?”

Audrey Lim had been laughing with another resident in her year. She punched him in the arm before wishing him luck and shoving him onto the elevator, reminding him that Andrews will be upset at them if he's late again. She waves to him as she leaves, continuing on her walk through the floor, looking for one of the nurses.
"Oh, hey." the third-year says, stopping when she sees the other doctor

@artisticagent After Audrey had seen that, she'd kept up a guard against the physician... but mentioning it offhandedly to another one of the residents and a nurse, as the three of them had been working a night shift together. They had both expressed a concern... but after the shift, they hadn't brought it up again. Audrey had been a little concerned for Sophia, but she figured that it was probably something that she didn't want to talk about... and Audrey wasn't going to force her to talk about it. She sighed slightly when Sophia had walked past her... if she didn't want to bring it up or even talk, Audrey wasn't going to bother her about it. She found the nurse and leaned against the wall with her arms crossed as the two of them talked.

@-alleyesonme TW: Implied SA/r*pe The second year resident looked through her eyelashes at Audrey and then looked down, "Hi." she said, curtly. She moved past Audrey to the nurse's station to busy herself with paperwork or whatever to avoid Lim. The two residents got on like a house on fire, which was weird due to their differing personalities and approaches to certain attitudes from the male higher ups. But Sophia had been avoiding the other since the incident last Tuesday. It was late at night when Audrey had been in the hallway of the office of the attending physician of the program that Sophia was in. There had been noises coming from the office until the door opened and a dishevelled, frightened Sophia walked out. Audrey had seen the attending physician place a kiss on the top of Sophia's head and a harsh threat to 'not tell anyone about it', as Sophia clutched her pink puffer coat around her as a means of protection from him. The door closed with a bang as tears rolled down Sophia's cheeks. When the young girl caught sight of Audrey, she had just stared at her with terror before running off as best as she could in the state that she was in.

@artisticagent “Oh… I’m sorry to hear that.” Audrey replied gently, trying to show a little bit of care for the other surgeon… She was never quite sure what to say. Of course, she understood grief and how it could affect your day to day life… Especially when the good memories were tainted by a strained relationship and a lie that still ate away at the shattered pieces of her heart… But it wasn’t like she could tell that to Sophia… she wasn’t exactly close to her. And they hardly worked together, only ever coming to the surgeon for consult when she had a pediatric patient in the trauma unit.

@-alleyesonme Sophia was unusually quiet. She was usually a riot on the wards, cheerful and bubbly. People could see her from a mile away with her blonde hair in intricate styles and her signature pale pink scrubs. But she hadn't been herself for the last week, wearing the ordinary blue scrubs, even her patients could see it and were concerned. "My step-father died last week, I...I didn't have the best relationship with him and now that he's gone...I feel empty." She admitted.

"Dr. Martino," the chief surgeon said calmly as she gave a reassuring smile, looking up from her clipboard, "I'd like to make your review as least painful and as easy as possible. I'm sure that your numbers have been great this year, not to mention that you have had no lawsuits or malpractice claims."
