    we all have things we love. things we know how to cope with. things we use to hide our pain or passion. we all have things we choose to cherish more than others. for me those things are my coping mechanism; reading, writing, listening to music. 
    as we read we turn our world upside down and enter another, feeling part of it. getting attached to characters and crying over deaths we won't forget. 
    when we write, we form our own world. we decide how to enter it, how to make it happen, how to live it. we decide who we want in our world, creating characters that you've never met before. we write to escape reality and enter fiction, where a life in a book could be so much better than our real one. 
    listening to music calms us, hypes us up, makes our passion stronger, gets us inspired, makes us sad. a roller coaster of emotions runs through our veins but it's okay. it's always okay.
