          	This post is regarding my Resident Evil story (Apocalypse) that is based off of Resident Evil 2 Remake specifically. I have BIG news!!!
          	
          	Expect a huge revamp of this story in the future! This story is over 4 years old, and I plan to make it much better and precise to the OG storyline. This includes way more details, more character personality and importance, and an overall improvement of the stories health. :)
          	
          	I am doing this because my writing abilities have gotten much better over the years, and I love this story as much as many others do!
          	
          	These changes won't be finalized for a long time. Expect everything to be done late 2026 for now. This date may change. If you are interested in seeing these changes become public over time, tune in on my AO3 account. I have the same username on there as I do here (ashesfanfics). I will push out the new and improved chapters as they are being rewritten.
          	
          	As for now, I hope you enjoy what is the current work of this story.

I just finished reading both parts of the apocalypse series and that was exactly what I was looking for. The chemistry between Leon and flora was amazing. And flora is such a beautiful name by the way. I loved the accurate descriptions of the settings just like in the game and it really felt surreal! 
          Wish I had a lot more to read on flora and Leon but the story really did get the best ending possible. I’m gonna be sad for a while now that it’s finished ngl. 
          But, yes amazing work! I’m not one who reads a lot as not many books or stories can catch my attention but this is exactly the niche I like, best of luck and hope you’re doing well!

@Aaditya27 i know which song you’re talking about actually. i love that song and i think it fits them too. i’ve never had someone tell me they’ve loved my story this much and it means a lot to me that you really enjoyed it and are still thinking about it! i’m honored. another great song is “the great war” by taylor swift. whenever i hear that song i always think of them. i think it fits them perfectly. you should definitely take a listen if you haven’t yet! i also like your idea about writing them after the events in book 1. i’ll have to think about it and maybe find some motivation for it. thank you for the ideas!

Sure thing! In fact, I kid you not, i am still thinking about Leon and flora even after finishing the story. There’s this song, “if you think I’m pretty” which is really reminding me of the two of them for some reason. I am honestly going to remember Leon more from this story now rather than the Leon from only the games. Thanks again for the amazing story! And this is coming from someone who hasn’t read more than 2 books in his life, surprising how I could be so invested in a story. I can only imagine what flora looks like, though I have a very pretty picture in mind. 
            Side note- maybe if you have ample amounts of time ever and you wish to write more about Leon and flora, one way could be to describe more of what went down right after part 1. When they had started living together. It could become more romantic at some points and you could show how they both tried to be reluctant but failed many times and gave in until eventually flora moved out. Doesn’t even have to be a lott of action, after the first two, it’d be very intriguing to even read about their relationship and interactions in a more subtle setting as they both recovered from the trauma. I wouldn’t  mess with the ending, though. Anyways, cheers!
