Well, I just submitted my novella for the ONC, and got another chapter up! I love where this story is going so far. If you're interested, be sure to check out Cynthie's Curse!

Small Update for today!

There will not be a new chapter of Starlight and Ebonfire out this week, however, on Friday, I plan to release a brand new story for the ONC 2025!

Which also means I'll be going down to once weekly uploads on Friday at least through March.
One, there's some changes I'd like to do to the plot and characters of Starlight and Ebonfire so it truly is a story I'm proud of writing and something I actually want to write.
Two, so I have more time to focus on editing Eyes of Azyron, which I'm severely behind on where I wanted to be right now.

As for the edited version of Eyes of Azyron, I'm hoping to get the first 10 chapters or so done by the end of February, and the first 20 out by March. I may delay this all the way into April depending on how soon the competitions EoA is currently enrolled in finish up. (Wish me luck!)

I'm hoping this new schedule helps me get some things back on track, plus I finally feel more inspired to write, which I feel this ONC journey is going to set me up for perfectly. Hope y'all are having a wonderful day!

Quick heads up for everyone! There will not be a new chapter of Starlight and Ebonfire tonight, as I've had a busy week and not enough time to write a new chapter just yet. However, I will be uploading the chapter tomorrow, as well as catch up on my r4rs!
          Much love ❤️

It's late, but I finally got up chapter four of Starlight and Ebonfire! It was a bit of a rough start getting it out there, but I pushed through the writer's block and carried on! I feel like it always hits around the first few chapters of a story for me.

Does anyone have any tips they'd like to share on how they combat their writer's block? I'd love to hear from you!

@ashestarling96 I get through my writers block by getting excited about the story again, whether I’m just talking or writing in my journal about the characters, drawing, writing a scene I’ll never put in the book or just thinking about it.
