Hello everyone.
This isn’t Ashton, this is his best friend Lila. I’m here to bring bad news.
Ashton has recently passed away. I won’t go into detail, but it was suicide. And I don’t know how often he used this app, or if he had friends on here, or any of that. But I’m going through his phone by request of his sister to see if it gives any further insight as to why he did what he did.
I don’t have much good news or really anything to say. He was my best friend and I was unaware that he was struggling so much. I guess my only thing to say is that I hope you’re all ok. And if you aren’t, tell someone. There is always someone who will help, or try to get you help. You’re never completely alone.
Ashton was a kind and wonderful and shattered human being. He won’t be missed by many, but by the few that knew him, he will be missed so so deeply. He’s an irreplaceable soul.
Again, I don’t know if people knew him on this app or really what he used it for other than to read stories. So I don’t know whose eyes this will fall on, but I just thought I’d post. Just in case.
