Chapter 20: Quinton’s POV part 1
*** Quinton’s POV ***
After saying goodbye to Cassandra, I toke Cameron and headed straight towards my parents. I know Cassandra had a long day today with Cameron and I’ll let her catch up on her sleep. Since Cameron has spent all day with Cassandra, its my turn for him to spend the rest of the night with me, by myself and no other help.
Just as I was already 10 minutes into driving, I forgot that I promised my mom that I would pick up her prescription at the pharmacy on my way back from school. At the next light I made a sharp left turn and headed into the city to get what she needed.
Just as I stopped at a stop light I spotted a group of girls on the corner all talking and laughing. They looked to be about my age. I had my music raised up and all my windows rolled down wearing my shades. Even though they were all giggling loud, my attention wasn’t meant for them. I have a girlfriend and a beautiful one at that.
I had one had one hand on the steering wheel and the other I was texting a buddy from school. I didn’t noticed that the girls across the street where calling me until I was done texting.
“Hey cutie!” A high pitch voiced yelled.
I looked and saw a girl with red curly hair waving at me seductively, biting down on her lip. I waved back and gave her my killer smirks just for the heck of it. She smiled brightly and twirled the ends of her hair. She was cute, and just by looking at her she looked easy to get. If it wasn’t for Cameron and Cassandra coming into my life, I probably would have stop to flirt and possibly gotten her number or to.
The light turned greened and I drove off. Lucky for her, the pharmacy was just a block away meaning the girl and her group of 3 friends could still see me.
