Are you familiar with the story of the three women who disappeared from Springfield , Mo . in either May or June of 1992 ? It was a mom , her teenage daughter , and the daughters friend , and they disappeared the night after the girls graduated high school . That might be an interesting chapter for your book .
There was also a girl who was apparently kidnapped from the town square in Clinton , Mo . in roughly the same time period ( somewhere between 1990 - 92 ) . As far as I know , that has never been solved , either .
