I was thinking about it, I think having him be promoted to Jonin after the Third Ninja War ended is the best way to start the Sarutobi fanfic.
@Dstephen37 and he can kill orochimaru during Kanabi bridge when Team 7 goes to get sasuke from him, but he orochimaru can be revived like in original in the 4th Great ninja war

@Dstephen37 hel for the saurtobi story can he only be training naruto during Lthe training arc to make the rasenshurikan or rasengan better, due to he should only train naruto during his rasengan phase due to him possibly have a chakra release rasengan as he was close to the fourth and let kakashi train him like the anime as he shouldn't be his sensei due to kakashi being the student and he has a promise to fufill to minato, but he could give pointers to naruto from time to time let follow the character development of naruto as all t=those help who naruto becomes in the future, all those trials and tribulations are challenges for him to overcome he role to naruto can be a guardian angel in disguise also let him be the sensei of team 8 0r 10
