Hi dearies!
          
          It was my birthday yesterday. I'm officially 21 ✨ 
          
          I will update tomorrow as a present!
          
          For now, here's a sweet scene:
          
          Dev was 4 years old when he first picked up the paint brush. 
          
          Before that, he would often lean against the door frame of his mother's art studio and watch her bring empty canvases to life with the strokes of her pencil and splashes of paint. 
          
          But that day, as he watched his mother create yet another masterpiece, he had sneakily stolen one of her brush, dipped it into the remaining wet paint on the discarded palette and tried to imitate her hand movements on the pristine white walls of the studio. 
          
          His mother had of course caught him in action. But instead of being angry, she had thrown her head back and let out a warm, musical laugh while a young Dev, instead of looking sheepish, had stared at her with mesmerised, starry eyes. 
          
          He loved his mother's laugh. It sounded like angels playing harp.

          I finally finished the first half of chapter 14. It's 4k words and feels like a complete chapter. 
          
          Now, there are two options: I can update one part of the chapter today and then the other part a few days later. Or I can complete the second part and update it together in a few days.
