Well, when you add the Japanese keyboard, you have two options. It’ll give the options of Romaji or Kana. I don’t know what Kana is, all I know is it’s an option of Japanese writing.
Ok, add a new keyboard, and add the Japanese one, and select Kana.
It sounds weird, yes, but I can’t explain it any other way. xd
