So, i am in the haikyuu fandom and it needs to stop. People are getting really toxic and are just down right rude. Characters are the way they are for a reason and most people can connect to them for that and their pasts are major plot points for their character development. Some of the nicknames I see for them make me sick to the stomach. Tendou is not a monster or freak, he is a kid who was bullied and found happiness. Atsumu isn’t the worse twin or the loser, he is Osamus equal and other half. Iwaizumi isn’t an abuser or bully, he has a hard time with emotions. Oikawa isn’t flat or narscassitic, he is a human who pushed themselves to the breaking point and beyond. Suna isn’t a drug addict or stoner, he is just a chill guy. Bokuto isn’t dumb or to sensitive, he is just an excitable boy, I myself am like that. Akaashi isn’t just a pretty face or only there to calm Bokuto, he is the team setter and plays an important role on said team and there are so many more, I could write an essay on how terrible this fandom has gotten. It disgusts me.

finally someone says it. i agree — really dont get me wrong i love the growth bcs furudate and all the other haikyuu staff deserve it, but really it annoys me into an extent when a few people do that, calling tendou a freak is one encounters ive been to, and i once even got mocked for liking atsumu— that i shouldve liked osamu instead. in some fanfics i read i do notice bokuto putting up to that dumb child cliche. 
          	  
          	  i remember the early days where everyone was so peaceful, the good amount of chaos, kind memes, and not so scary encounters.. haikyuu is starting to get overrated and it kinda makes me sad

It’s fine, I honestly don’t mind. My art style has progressed since then so I’m always willing to either redraw or draw new stuff for practise if u wish, and i can give u my socials on private messages if u truly wish :)
