A nightmare was Aurelie’s greatest enemy. She didn’t get them often, but when she did, she couldn’t be able to fall in a deep slumber once again. Hence, her decision to go outside in order for the warm breeze to calm her nerves.
She was just walking by when she saw a person, a lady to be more specific, with her back turned to her. She felt that the moment was private and she didn’t want to disturb the tranquility of the night. Therefore, she hid behind a large tree and watched as the lady walked away.
Wanting to identify who it was, Aurelie followed her, constantly hiding behind trees and bushes. When she was about to follow once again, the lady stopped and looked around, “Who are you? Show yourself!” Her voice boomed.
‘Guess she felt my presence,’ Aurelie thought as she came out from her hiding place, her hands raised up as if surrendering to her. “I’m sorry for following you. I just wanted to know who you were, but I didn’t know how to approach.” She apologized and bowed.
