          How’s everyone doing?
          I suppose I owe you all an explanation, but you probably don’t want the humpty dumpty details so I’ll try to keep it brief:
          
          Long story short – writing brings me pain lol. There was a time I used to love it, back when I was in the shadows of obscurity and only 10 people read my silly fics. Now, the idea of writing for the masses has been scraping at my heart and I had to leave… for like an entire year. 
          
          Which I deeply apologise for doing without letting anyone know. It was incredibly selfish and irresponsible of me to promise updates and then leave you all hanging. Initially, I had intended to write – but then a bunch of things kept getting in the way (namely, COVID, being a STEM girlie, and life in general) – and then I realised I couldn’t keep doing this because it was bringing me incredible amounts of stress so I just stopped. 
          
          I would also like to apologise for randomly deleting Violett Snape out of the blue without a warning – I won’t delve into an explanation for that because then I will begin to sound insane – but seeing multiple comments and messages over the year asking about it and one lovely piece of fanart I received a few months prior, I thought that I need to get over myself. Yes, I started writing Violett’s story for myself, but I finished it for you. So even if I hated it, it didn’t matter because it was all for you guys in the end. Evidently, you are my biggest source of strength, even if the sheer number of you is daunting at times (I literally opened Wattpad to 17K+ notifications and 111 DMs… It doesn’t even let me read past 500.) 
          So, I hope you enjoy the resurrection of Violett’s shenanigans – appropriate, I think, that she defy death yet again. (1/2)
