            6/ the shot of Martin Krebs in front of the Van Dijks bar paralled to Journey 2: The Mysterious Island when Josh Hutcherson and Dwayne The Rock show up to the little tropical coastal town before securring a flight to the island with Gomez Addams and Gabriella Montez 
            
            7/ they spent too long yapping on the boat. I wanted to see dinosaurs 
            
            8/ the second I heard “they look like sails” I KNEW it was spinosaurs, the spinosaurus is a phenominal swimmer 
            
            9/ the spinosaurs attacking the ship was fabulous. Loved it. 
            
            10/ Xavier gives me Kenji vibes and Isabella gives me Ben vibes 
            
            11/ I love that they included the river raft scene!! 
            
            12/ quetzalcoatlus is my favorite pterosaur bc I’m unoriginal so I loved to see it 
            
            Everything else— I love the vibes. Fear factor vibes. I really don’t mind the plot. I love Dolores for Isabella. I think Kincaid should of croaked for real (same way I think Ben should of croaked). I think because we’ve had so msny times “heres this character and we’re gonna fake his desth and be fine.” Would have made it if when they went back to picj up Kincaid, he got eaten by something else (in the water, maybe the spinosaur?). I love seeing my D. Rex in red. 
            
            Jurassic Park / World main protagonist characters have way too much plot armor. Or maybe I watch too much of The 100. 
            
            No matter what I’m here for the dinosaurs and I love all of them (:

            4/ the movie takes the idea of “the dinosaurs can only survive in today’s world along a narrow equatorial band bc Earth was much hotter during the Mesozoic Era” way too far. It’s so inaccurate — and I know a lot of sci-fi and a lot of JP/JW IS inaccurate, but this one pisses me tf off. In the Mesozoic Era, you would find dinosaurs in both tropic climates and climates cooler than the tropics. 
            — they could have inferred that the dinosaurs they required existed on this island because of unearthed research or modern research they did to search for them (possibly log them, too). They still could have world-wide bans on dinosaur hot-spots. There’s just… better possibilities than “they can only survive in the tropics”
            — not to mention we’ve seen pyroraptors, velociraptors, apatosaurs, brachiosaurs, etc. in the cold and they have been just fine. 
            — AND ANOTHER POINT: the dinosaurs have been confirmed in many pieces of media within the franchise to be endotherms (warm-blooded) which survive significantly better in cold temperatures than ectotherms (cold-blooded) animals would. (Endotherms generate metabolic heat to maintain internal temperature, ectotherms regulate their internal temperature primarily through behavior: sun = warm; shade = cool). 
            — solid rant for “their explanation is dumb and I will be ignoring it in future fanfics”
            
            5/ Henry crunching the altoids killed me (TWICE)

@Slytheengowrl HELLO I'm mid finals week but I definitely did not forget that I saw this. 
            
            OKAY I JUST SPED THROUGH THE MOVIE AGAIN BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A LONG TERM MEMORY. 
            
            1/ yapping so hard about JW Rebirth, now im scared to call book 3 in my series Rebirth. 
            
            2/ I dig the D. Rex. He’s so cute and ugly at the same time. I love him. 
            
            3/ Public interest in dinosaurs waning (intro text 5min in) legit makes me so sad. I get they were going for the same contextual experience of “oh dinosaurs are brought back to life, the kids no longer go to museums to see bones anymore!” for this, but it still makes me sad. It kind of has the same output as reading when I was a kid. Kids my age read. A lot of us did, but so many children in the generation below me either don’t read at all, or read AI slop (bare minimum in the US),  (and its very clear in their grades in school, but I have a whole ‘nother rant about US schools passing anyone for another time), that the action fo reading and analyzing and understanding what you’ve read is disappearing. I don’t like that, either. Both make me sad.

@NIVIPCYHO I love you that came here and told me, and I appreciate that so much! That's actually my own ao3 acc because I wanted to cross post in case any ao3 reader that like... despised wp would have a chance to read it still, lol. 
            
            Although, I got so tired cross posting and rereading for an extra edit, I constantly forget ao3 exists, and I rather have all of my NRG filtering into wattpad... However, I will cross post the rest of my Panic Room series for the like... 3 people that commented wanting more lol. 
            
            But it is in fact me! And I thank you for coming to tell me regardless of you not knowing. I appreciate that so much!

@Slytheengowrl depending on when Ben shows her trollhunters, I think Eva would relate to Douxie. Chaos Theory Era Eva (from about 2020 to 2022, including two different stories) would absolutely relate to Douxie in the sense of setting things right, and willing to do anything to protect not just his friends, but all that is considered "life" and that all is precious. 2018-2019 Eva would most likely be indifferent but slightly bothered by small similarities, and 2013-2017 Eva (2013 included with the idea of the prequel in mind, although obvi Ben wouldn't show her it until they've met and they're on the mainland in 2016+ and as we know, trollhunters didn't even come out until december of 2016) would get so annoyed with Douxie-- undoubtedly. She'd hate his name, too. Purposely mispronounce it.

@Slytheengowrl funnily enough, I grew up in a desert climate lol. I hadn’t seen snow until I moved to my current home. Born and raised in a drought, in dry heat. I think the hottest it used to get was around 48°. 
            
            Oh, man, but such a severe thunderstorm hit tonight while I was preparing to leave the campus!, I had to sit in my car while a storm blew over, completely dark out, and green lightning dancing in the sky. It was both beautiful and eerie. Parking lot was flooded 20 minutes later when I finally left. 
            
            Still amazed by my ability to enjoy scorching dry heat, what I deem „Twilight” weather, and snow.

            both me, a friend, AND our mathematics teacher all hate this warm weather, we’re all from up north and even after a few years we don’t like it

Omg hi bestieeeee 
            I fingers crossed promise the prequel is coming this year before Ocotber— I am shooting for September 16! 67 chapters of Kenji and Eva prior to Panic Room! I have a Christmas special being posted this Christmas— all the while working on the outline of the Chaos Theory book. 
            I PROMISE things are coming!!! Just a little big longer of a wait!!! I will drop an update very very soon at the end of Panic Room! (Some time within the first half of August)
