So, I'm taking a healthy break from Rapture (and working on some developmental edits with a good friend) and in the meantime I've been in such a flow state on this werewolf romance I've had in my notes for like 10 years 🤣 it's finally coming to fruition lol! So let me introduce you to the new story:
WARCHILD (WIP title) is a werewolf romance that aligns with some popular wattpad trends but ultimately has a bit of a different tone and pace. Main character Calais is deeply hurt after being severely ostracized in his city college and having his photography work stolen. He makes the decision to move out to the small mountain town he used to visit as a child, only upon getting there learns that there are protests regarding the wolves in the protected forest surrounding. He meets Declan, a strange man who seems a part of the forest itself. They find themselves fighting poachers, capitalist ecocide, and the pain of their pasts—all while discovering that there's something more supernatural about the townspeople of Halfmoon.
First chapter will be posted in the next few days along with a content warning page detailing several potentially triggering themes in this story. What do we think? :>
