Wow! My ongoing story New Normal just got #1 ranking in the category humanexperimentation !!

That's pretty cool...or it's an indication of something very, very sick!

AHi again, @atomisis. I am delighted that you enjoyed In His Sensuous Arns.

I agonized over having her patch things up with hubby or ha e her tell him to get lost.

It seemed best that he learn something, and have him change his behavior.

@atomisis, Wattpad has allowed me to interact with readers and writers. I've been instructive and supportive.

You could say I was invited here by an 18-year-old, homeschooled farm girl who befriended me on NaNoWriMo ten years ago.

After we collaborated on our respective stories for months, she discovered Wattpad and suggested I try it.

At age 28, she remains my friend and hopefully will marry soon.

Later I discovered it's dominated by young ladies 14-20, but more mature writers are there.

As an old man, I haven't looked like my Peace Corps photo in years. It's there for readers who might have reservations about age and capability.

The mostly lady writer-friends on Wattpad have often worked out as Facebook friends.

But friend requests from random, lovely "females" (if they are) are suspected scams. They flatter my older looks and ask for money eventually.

The scams got so bad in 2012, they inspired a novel.

The story about Tara is unfinished. The Castaway story has its moments isn't that good. It fails to develop the cross cultural humor it should.

It's easier to make someone cry than laugh.

            Thanks for your comments.

@TerryP That's nice. I'm glad they are doing better. I think sometimes the anonymity of the internet can be cathartic in a situation. Like anything else, it can also lead to problems too; all in what the intent and driving forces are.

@atomisis, I wrote that story with a certain female Wattpad writer in mind in Decemberof 2012.

Not that her husband was abusive. But she was having a hard time then.. Nor did she and I have any intimate interests .

Things are better in her marriage enough so that she felt comfortable enough to have a second daughter since then.

Things got better, and her reputation as a writer is flourishing.

I attend church at a local army chapel. The death of a long-time friend (retired colonel) prevented me from taking my wife with me to meet her at a nearby writer's conference.

She didn't want me to be too accurate about her life.

            I wasn't.

HI again, A t o mi s I s. I had forgotten all about that "shameless plug" in Chapter Two.

Thanks for pointing that out. :)

That particular stor mentioned was my first written during National Novel Writing Month. My goal was 50k words in 30 days.

          It's in need of revising..

The plot is good, but divisions confusing and chapters too long .

@TerryP Try spelling it with a small 'a' maybe? I've never had trouble with spelling it. Although my phone gives me different troubles with words than my computer, so who knows with autocorrect.
