Hello my lovelies!! Im sorry I've been away for so long, I had a couple things come up and then another and now we're here. I apologize for inactivity but I promised you all a 40s era of Tom Riddle and I stay true to my word and I will be releasing shortly. In the meantime I strongly suggest ready my Lorenzo Berkshire fic if you love him or simply love slow burn friends to lovers. Hi lovelies if you haven't already i suggest reading my Lorenzo Berkshire story. I promise it's worth it. I have a couple chapters out now, it's a slow burn friends to lovers (sooooo muchhhhh yearning) and if you are wondering about another Tom Riddle fic, I will be writing the student era of Tom soon. Omg I need help I don't know if my stories sound good. I keep reading and reading and it sounds like a fourth grader that wrote it, and I keep publishing and unpublishing because I feel insecure about my writing. Can you give me some advice?
@lena_Estella yeah love!!! So instead of using "said" or "says" try to use different words to describe their action, (shout, demanded, whined, whimpered, babbled, confessed, claimed, added, advised, explained, etc). Try to draw a picture of the scenery. Where is this person at? Are they sitting? Describe how their posture is or if the chair is uncomfortable under them. Are they walking? Do their feet hurt? Do they know where they are going? It takes time and it's completely okay to rewrite some parts. I did it all the time!!! My first story was rusty the second one was better because of that, we all need to start somewhere. Once you get the hang of it you will find your writing style. With smut it's more about what the person feels. How does the person's skin feel on theirs? Sweat, heat, and most importantly words!!! You could describe their actions and what they are doing but what they are saying to each other really sells it. Hey Im Lena and I came up with a book that is called Song of Snakes and if to similar to your title, just say the word and ill change it.
@lena_Estella hii as long as the story isn't similar I see nothing wrong with it ♀️ I can understand some stories have the same title but as long as our stories are different I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Happy writing!!
