is anyone else's notifications being fucky?

okay, so I've been trying to remember and find a specific book series that I read in middle school. In the first book, the main character ended up interrupting a fae wedding and stepped on the bride's shoe, and it ended up infecting him. he was given treatment by someone but his mom poured it down the sink thinking it was just some gross concoction that he had made or something like that. His dad's sister was cursed by fae when they were younger from his grandpa shooting a dear in fae territory or something and "as long as the water ran clear over her eyes" she would stay in a magical coma and never age. due to nearby construction though, the creek ran dry and she woke up. that's the basis of what I remember of it. Does anybody know what it was called? I could really use some help.
