I'm delighted to divulge that my book "Ice Cream - You scream" succeeded and qualified for the second round of the Open Novella Contest. I'm ecstatic about this. Despite not being an English native, I still qualified in a competition filled with remarkable authors, many of whom are highly experienced and whom I respect. Having just written a couple of months ago, this is a great stride for me and my books, and I'm taking them seriously.

          	I urge all people to ignore any assertions that their writing is not up to par to create a book or their language skills are not sufficient - with sufficient diligence and perseverance, all things are possible. Someone claimed that I was not competent enough to compose a book entirely in English because of my non-native status... that only increased my fortitude :)
          	Said individual was a native speaker, yet they were prone to errors in grammar, thus showing that even natives are not flawless.
          	No one is perfect.
          	It was not a stranger. Even though we are no longer friends, I'm achieving more than he expected of me.
          	Do not relinquish your aspirations, considering what others profess. I'm convinced they can't do better yet still enjoy critiquing.
          	It is uncertain if I will reach the third round, however. I guarantee I will give it my all!
          	Should my efforts prove insufficient, I will not be deterred and will continue to strive for improvement.
