I wrote my first story when I was five years old. It was about a mermaid who had wings and she was an outcast. Then she found a treasure chest with a magic wand in it. To help the other mermaids understand her, she gave them all wings as well and they flew together. :-) Anyhow, since then, all I've wanted to do is write. I've read over eight hundred books (that I know of) so far and I hope to read thousands more in my lifetime, and publish dozens of my own :-)
I have been struggling seriously with writer's block for years. NaNo WriMo helps me out with that a lot, but I've learned to give up some of the stories I accidentally deleted and had to rewrite. 
I also realized I am missing my friends who used to read and encourage me through high school and my readers on the old Maximum Ride fansite that loved my fanfiction. So I will be posting again but original work.
