I grew up in Orem, Utah where I spent most of my childhood thinking about two subjects: sports and books.  With my dream of playing professional basketball shattered early in life, I grew up daydreaming about fantastical worlds and magical wonders from the books I read.  As an adult, I've continued this passion for the written word, reading constantly and studying creative writing any chance I get.  My debut novel, Dual Fires, puts a twist on epic stories of destiny and what it takes to become a hero.
