My name is Selah, a firefighter/paramedic from South Dakota. I currently work on Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota and travel in the summers as part of a wildland fire response team. I'm a non-binary woman, an alley for trans rights and representation, and a recipient of top surgery. I'm outspoken about my experience in the hope that I can be an inspiration to another person struggling with gender dysphoria. I write complex historical fiction works that wrestle with wisdom lost to history, our assumptions about the world around us, and the way that human connection drives everything we do. I spend much of my free time traveling and exploring with my rescue dog, Tatanka.
