Hello, friends and followers! It's been just over a year and a half since my last story ended, and I'm happy to announce that I am back to publish my new story for everyone! I've spent this year writing in my free time (when I wasn't trying to get 100% in RDR2) and this is the first story I feel proud enough and passionate enough about to finally publish! I haven't been this excited about anything in a while and I'm glad to be doing something I love once again :)

This story takes a normal, popular trope you find on Wattpad and other similar websites and tries to add depth to the characters and make them as realistic as possible. This mostly includes teenage mental illness and the debilitating effects it can have on teens--in both the past and future--as I feel people don't highlight this issue nearly enough. I know not everyone suffers from mental illness(es) but it happens more commonly than movie producers and authors seem to think.

Here's the story summary for you all to get an early sneak peek!

          	❝

❝Did you lose a tooth in that fist-fight?"

"Yeah. Maybe I should go back and look for that tooth sometime soon. Maybe I can get something for it from the tooth fairy."

          	"Ew, that's disgusting!"

"What, you don't think the whole bad-boy-got-into-a-fight-and-lost-a-tooth look is sexy? Other girls would die to be in your position."

"Then I'll get the shovel ready.❞

          	----------

Rylee Melanie Mitchell-Aristov has long been known as the city's best percussionist, despite the piano being her one and only true love. Likewise, Aiden Barringer has long been known as the town's token bad boy due to his father's illicit dealings, despite his soft interior and heart of gold. Aiden's been trying to date Melanie for years now and she has always declined him. But now that she's single once more, maybe she'll give him a real fighting chance.

Maybe there's more to Aiden than his father's sins and his poor decision making. Maybe there's more to Melanie than just being the school's little drummer girl with a passion for the piano. And maybe Melanie was meant to have two true loves since the very first time she touched those white and black chromatic keys.

          	  ----------

This story is rated 13+ due to language, drinking, smoking, fighting, and sexual content, all involving teens.

          	  ----------

THE DRUMMER GIRL’S BAD BOY. Coming April 3rd.

          	  ❞

I know what you’re thinking… Another bad boy story? I know, I know, the idea has been way overdone! But I’ll be first to admit that I’ve always been a hoe for these types of stories (I even tried to go for a bad boy once in high school). And, like I said earlier, I wanted to try to make the characters as realistic as possible, so it revolves around the “bad boy” and the trauma he obtained in his childhood, which is why he’s the “bad boy” he’s known as today. Likewise, the story follows the “good, perfect girl” and the mental illness she struggles with on a day-to-day basis; of which no one but her closest friends know about. And, having two professionally diagnosed mental illnesses, this story hits pretty close to home. So hopefully others will see it the same way as well! (I also wanted to say that many events in this story are based on TRUE EVENTS. Yeah. I’m not kidding. You’ll see the further we get in but some of this stuff is unbelievable. Remember the bad boy I had a crush on in high school? Yeah, the main character of Aiden wasn’t pulled out of thin air, that’s for sure.)

Anyway, I’ve been chatting for too long… The first chapter of the story comes out April 3rd! I want to try to get a chapter out once a week, but I’m not making any promises. I’m a full-time college student and work as often as I can, so as much as I would like to write more, it only tends to be my third priority in life :(

Sorry for the long message; I’ll see you all in a few weeks!

Hello stranger! I'm hoping you see this and that you read to the end. I have had this account for years, and I just started publishing. It would mean a lot if you check them out. I aspire to become a great writer likeany out there. Make us book nerds proud!

Hey, everyone! I have some great news! I’M BAAACCCKKK!!! If you haven’t realized, I’ve been absent since the end of my last book, so like, three years lmao. Long story short, my mental health was struggling a lot around the time of “A Royal Pain”/“Blue Eyed Doll” and it took a lot of time for me to get better. Some good news though: I’m feeling so much better and I was writing during my entire absence, so look forward to some stories coming out soon! In fact, I just published one now!

It’s titled “Cause & Effect”. It’s a student/teacher relationship and—I know—it sounds cliche but give it a chance! I’ve spent a lot of time with this and I’m sooo proud of it. Not only is it a bit...different than other s/t relationships but it’s also heavily related with music, specifically band class in high school. So, if you’re into that, give her a read! I will update the story every Friday! Other than that, have a great weekend everyone :)
