This was one of the most exhilarating books I've ever read. The last time I felt this was when I read Harry Potter as a kid.. no other book has given me that same thrill. I don't know what the reason is for you not wanting to continue with this series, but it feels like — and this probably sounds weird — like you left Sable Diedre trapped in that darkness for ever. I picture him haunted and alone, waiting for someone to save him, waiting for four years now, like how Will waited when he was stuck in the Upsidedown. I hope one day you'll save him.. :(
