| IMPORTANT | we look at the date . 9/11 . today is the day the twin towers , the pentagon and four planes were attacked , resulting in the sacrifice of over 3,000 innocent people . also , this date marks the twenty year war on the Middle East , which resulted in 7000 military deaths , 30,000 suicides in American troops and loss of about 177,000 uniformed middle Easterners. I would like to take the time to admire all the brave heroes who risk their lives everyday to be the ones protecting our freedom in the US , not perfect , but privileged compared to what we see around the world . Not worried about not being able to go to school or a shopping plaza . Also in this time , honor the lives lost in the attacks and on going welfare , which was only somewhat resolved this month by the removal of most troops . No matter where you stand politically , pay respect and reverence to those who were cruelly taken through violence , and stand United remembering what we have lost , plus the wisdom we gained .Nothing we can do or say cannot give enough thanks to those who witnessed horrors with their own eyes , duty to save their people and country .
